We’re big fans of the humble cafetière, aka french press. They’re simple, inexpensive and readily available. When it comes to drinking a cafetière coffee, unlike a filter coffee (which we also enjoy time-to-time), the drink retains the oils from the coffee resulting in a full-bodied mouthfeel. Which is perfect for our coffee!

If you’re looking to purchase ground coffee from our store to brew it in a cafetière, be sure to select ‘Ground for cafetière’ before adding it to the basket. If you’re purchasing whole beans to grind the coffee yourself, you’ll want to grind it course like sea salt.

By popular demand we now sell our (dairy-free) choc drops on our online store! So we’ve written a brew guide to help you make the most out of them. If you are not using our chocolate drops, you can still follow this guide - just make sure the chocolate is in chopped into small pieces to help it melt.

One of the key components to our creamy, silky-smooth milk-based coffees (and hot chocolates!) at our coffeshops is the dense micro-foam we create in the steamed milk. It helps carry the flavour of the drinks and has a rich mouthfeel.

Here we have a couple of solutions to help you make that foamy coffee you’ve been craving, with minimal cost…
